I teamed up with Youtube to generate awareness for their latest feature, bite-sized videos called Shorts. By incorporating my talents in fashion design and love for West African textiles, I showed audiences the fun of Shorts for entertainment and sharing stories.

From Sketch to Slay

For this set of content I invited viewers along my sewing journey of taking a fashion sketch to a finished look, including patterndrafting, cutting pieces, assembling the garments and modeling my new outfit. We Love Short Shorts

As part of the campaign, Youtube challenged creators to produce a video using The Royal Teens 1957 hit “Short Shorts”. I embraced the messaging of the song and combined it with my love for DIY fashion by showing how I transformed a long jumpsuit into a jumpsuit with shorts. This video was shared on Youtube, TikTok, and Instagram and supported by the series of Instagram stories.
